Default solonoid stays engaged

i have a 2001 ez-go pds with a 500 amp alltrax controller, 11.5 hp motor,w/200 amp solonoid with new trojan 105s, the solonoid stays engaged at all times it will click on and off when you switch the key switch on and off. i have changed the pedal micro switch, and the pot sensor. the cart will not move in forward or reverse. the contoller has a green light with no error codes. any suggestions on what it might be? thanks

On a PDS cart with alltrax control the solenoid will engage with key on but will disengage momentarily and wait for you to press the gas to re-engage.
Could be a failed solenoid or a problem in the activation circuit.

I'm not all that familiar with Alltrax controllers, but here is a schematic for the original PDS set up. The activation circuit external to the controller should be the same.

To get the controller to activate the solenoid after the POST (Power On Self Test) Scotty mentioned, the following switches/interlocks must be closed.
1. Reed Switch
2. Run/Tow Switch in Run position (Might not exist with AllTrax controller)
3. F/R Switch in either F or N.
4. Key Switch ON
5. Pedal Switch. Pedal depressed.

The Pedal Switch being the one that is typically the last to be closed.
If you have replaced it or worked on it, make sure it is open (No continuity between pins 1 & 2 on the original J4 plug) when pedal is not depressed.

What it boils down to is that either the controller is being told to activate the solenoid and the problem is in the external activation circuit listed above, or it isn't being told to activate the solenoid and is doing it anyway, which means the controller is bad. (Or maybe the interface wiring from original controller to aftermarket controller)
