Default Disconnecting reverse buzzer?

Any issues unplugging the reverse buzzer? It seems like a simple thing to do, but unsure how that circuit may play with others on the cart.

Don't do it. It's an important safety feature. It is very easy to have the cart in reverse and think it's in forward if there is no buzzer. If it's too loud, put a piece of tape over the hole in the middle to tone it down some. Some carts have a safety feature that will not allow it to run if the buzzer isn't connected.

I put a piece of duct tape over mine and then needed to poke a hole in it.

I can still hear the buzzer, but just barely..

I used regular scotch tape and it toned it down about the right amount. Still loud enough to hear but it doesn't have that ear splitting sound that it had before.

I took mine off. No issues at all. I use my cart for hunting and didn't want the extra sound.

Where I ride, I do a lot of backing up. My buzzer broke several months ago and I sure don't miss it!

Be aware if you disconnect buzzer insurance company may not pay claim if you have an accident. Or someone may sue you for for disconnecting a safety device. Just a thought before you disconnect it. On my cart I just put some tape over it so it was not as loud. But I can understand disconnecting it if cart is used for hunting only.

Without the reverse buzzer, there is no indication that the cart has been left in reverse. It's easy to forget that and step on the throttle thinking it's going to go forward. It happens and it can cause a wreck. You might have left it in reverse days ago. I think it's unsafe to disable the buzzer completely.
