Yes, I think all Curtis controllers use the same type of Bipolar Hall effect sensor.

Just make sure you take a close up picture to verify you soldered it the same orientation as the original.

You may want to buy two of them since most of the cost is shipping anyway, that way if you accidentally damage one is not a problem.

Thanks, Sergio. The same thought about buying more than one had already occurred to me. Given that they are only $1.85 each, it seems silly not to buy a spare or two when the shipping charge will be the same for any small component order.

Does anyone know how hot the 48 volt motor runs? I have found a source in the UK who has the A1203EUA-T Hall Effect bipolar switch. Looking at the Allegro datasheets, the only difference between this A1203 variant and the recommended A1203LUA-T is the maximum operating temperature, which is 85°C for the EUA as opposed to 150°C for the LUA.

I think it will work fine, I found an specification document from Club Car for the ADC motor that calls for the sensor temperature criteria:
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: -20C TO +85C

At the equivalent of about $6, I'm prepared to take a gamble. Even if it fries, I know the cart will still run fine without the Regen braking, as it does at present.
