I bought an Accusense charger, and it didn't work either. It was brand new. Traded it to my brother for 3 brand new batteries.

I can only assume that the repair shop I took it to today tested it on one of their carts and, after they 'fixed' it, it worked. They said that it had a bad rectifier?

I can only assume that it's something in the charging circuit of the cart itself.

Thanks for all the advice.

Yes, it is something in the cart charging circuit itself:

Make sure the fuse on the negative wire is good (if You have a fuse).

Run a 10ga wire from the back of the charger receptacle directly to the pack negative battery post.

In order to use the accusense charger, You need to run the above wire.

Bad move. The upside to the DPI is that it completely bypasses the OBC

So if I run a wire from the back of the plug-in on the cart, the black side, to the last battery in the circuit, black terminal, it will bypass the OBC and I'll know if that's it?

BUT...if I bought the Accusense, and it wouldn't put out amps either, and it bypasses the OBC...then maybe it's not the OBC, cause the Accusense charger wouldn't work either. It did the same thing. it would come on, but the amp needle just layed on 0.

I saw a list of instructions on how to reset the OBC. Is that worth trying.

You have to physically wire around the Obc. It depends on which model charger you bought. They have one the uses the OBC and one that doesn't. And for the one that does not you need to wire straight to the battery pack-.

and this sad story just keeps getting sadder. Jumping a wire from the back of the plug receptacle to the battery didn't do anything. resetting the OBC per online instruction didn't do anything.

Took cart to shop. 500$ worth of batteries. They say they charged it up with my charger. Got home. it wouldn't work. Voltage but no amps. Voltage at my outlet was good. 122.

NOW, the charger wont even come on. nothing. When I plug charger into cart...it doesn't click. It used to click.

I give up. Sometimes, I guess it just isn't meant to be.

Let's take it from the top here...

So what charger do you have now? Is it a Club Car Powerdrive charger? It must be either a PD 1, 2, or 3 to work with the OBC in the cart.
