Re: problem not solved
I did the entry level PQ bandit. Was told by them that it's a modified stock motor that runs on all my other stock equipment. New batteries new wires and the PQ bandit should be plenty for me and my application. Shouldn't have any kind of clearance problems I don't think. 25% more power should get me up to 13 MPH lol. Anything is better than what I got going right now. Lol

Re: problem not solved
On a side note.... my F/R switch looks dirty and dusty. Can it be cleaned? If so, what is the best way to do so? Will cleaning the contacts help with anything?

Re: problem not solved
The PQ Bandit is the same size as stock motor, it is just stock motor hopped up.

Yes a bandit is a hopped up stock motor so clearance is the same . just when said you splurged and bought a plum quick motor I assumed it was a custom built and they are larger |

Re: problem not solved
Speaking of side-notes...if your cart is REALLY only doing 10 mph tops with your current setup - have you checked for THIS PEDAL ISSUE? Maybe you already have, but its pretty common when carts get older and the cheapest mph you'll ever get.

Re: problem not solved
This weekend was a success. Broke in the new batteries and installed my new plum quick bandit motor. My cart went fromm 10 mph to 17 mph on GPS from my phone. I'm happy!

Re: problem not solved
Cool - Glad your done. I assume you did both jobs concurrently, and will never really know why it was so slow to start with.

Re: problem not solved
Not sure. I just threw parts at it. Lol. Was discouraged when new batteries and old motor did nothing. After the motor swap and basically 70% increase in speed I can only assume maybe my motor was on its way out?? Who knows. I like the speed now.
