Aftermarket steering wheels/adapters interchangable?

I have a Grant adapter and a cheap Grant wheel on my cart. It's already showing rust bubbling up under the paint on the metal surfaces. I'm looking to change the wheel but maybe go with something a little nicer so I don't have the same problem again. I came across a Madjax wheel that I like and they sell adapters (separately) as well. Not wanting to assume a different brand wheel would fit my Grant adapter, I emailed Madjax tech support and asked. The response I got back was "we don't know, we've never tried it - you are on your own on this one".

Anyone have any experience or knowledge to say whether or not one will fit with the other or likely won't? I would think these things are fairly interchangable.

Is your adapter a 5 hole or 6 hole? Most aftermarket adapters are 5/6 hole comb. So if you have a comb one then most wheels fit. But if you don't then u need to buy a wheel that fits your adapter .or buy them both. Hope this helps
