How to get my stock cart up a hill

That is also just with the power on and sitting there. Would i need to be moving to get the 37 volts?

Ok figured it out. Sorry bout that im new to this all. On the flat i got 35.1 and on the hills when it slows down i got 34 volts

Your battery sound ok as long as your above 31 volts going uphill or under load....

Did you check for hot spots in the wiring after the hill climb?

It won't be easy, but it's possible to check for voltage at the motor while under load.

One question you've not addressed: just how steep is that hill(s)? Does the cart "run out of gas" and actually stop, or just slow down quite a lot? A series cart will slow down, but they seem to just sort of 'dig in' and keep on going. Simply replacing the high current wiring with heavier gauge wire would help some, and if you have any wires that are marginal, it would probably help a lot.

It will make it up but it just gets up slow. Like i said really any small incline seems to have a problem, i am a bigger guy(325) im sure that dont help either. I didnt feel anything hot. Would a digital voltage reader with aligator clips work for the motor? Thanks to all for the help.

When you get to the top of the hill do what jdunmyer recommended, lift the seat and start touching cables. If one or several are hot you found bad connections. Be careful as there could be a very hot cable and we don't want you getting burned.
Another thought is make sure your high speed solenoid is working, if not you could running current through the last resistor. If the cart is cool at the bottom of the hill and you floor it all the way up the hill your speed resistors should still be fairly cool at the top. Do not touch speed coils, way to much heat. Hold your hand above them feeling for heat to rise, if any are warm you have solenoids that are not working or switches not working.

The small small solenoid activation go into a box of 5 micro switches. 1 for each solenoid... the are slide operated and act like trigger wires for your solenoid 'speeds'

You are talking about the small wires going to the box that the throttle linkage goes to? If so that's your solenoid switch box.
