Default Magnet Modification

I'm not sure how to determine if my 2004 Club Car Precedent Villager 4 is a good candidate for a magnet modification to gain some speed. I'm currently getting 14mph with an all-stock vehicle.

I understand that I need to have a non-Excel cart, but not sure how to determine that. Also, any other way to find out which motor I have without eyeballing it? My cart is at another home right now and would like to order a magnet before I go there next time.

My Serial# is PE0431-415837 and picture of my cart attached.

Thanks for any insights!

The PE of the serial number denotes that the car is an IQ, rather than an Excel. To determine the motor: If the motor has a black case and a grey end cap that wraps around the side of the motor, it is an AMD motor. If the motor has a dark grey case and a grey end cap that doesn't wrap around, the motor is a GE

Great, appreciate the reply. Is the motor easily seen from underneath the rear end or must I remove the wheel to get a good view? Thinking about asking a buddy there to go take a look at it but don't want him to invest too much effort just to get me an answer. Thanks!

You should just be able to look from the underneath of the rear of the cart
