Re: Need A Controller cover for a Marathon
I got one from a txt, it's probably a bit different but might work. I got my street cart running cherokee so I can see the bigazz alltrax in it.

I have one. Little dirty but otherwise in good condition. Make me an offer if interested.

Bah, you don't need it. Unless you are going to lose sleep at night. I got one to but it's the holder for a zillion misc nuts and screws. I like it upside down and how it's all open and not like a coffee can.

Project box! I looked for projector box! Thx for the link, and that looks good to me. If that doesn't work, AB, I'll take you up on yours. I'm not a purist, I just don't want to drop a nut down in it when I'm swapping batts or something.

Re: Need A Controller cover for a Marathon
Okay, that's funny stuff. I'm a boat captain, so I tend to overdo a bit. "Anything's gonna go wrong, it's gonna go wrong out there!" But it's nice seeing a really tight system. Isolation block, bundled, wrapped, flex conduit, project box, wingnut, the whole nine yards. Glad I've finally found someone else as AR as I am!
The PO of my cart firmly believed in speaker wire for everything, wire nuts, and the shortest path between any two points was the best. When I took the non-working charger apart it had a broken-in-two isolation block that had come undone from the charger wall, a 30amp slo-blo instead of a 15 amp quick blo, a varistor broken in two, and every connection was done with either bare wire twisted around a screw or some ill-fitting connector, leaving enough resistance in the system to grill a cheese sandwich. Well done, Ninja. Well done. |
