Here is one of ScottyB's I added to my PDS. I wired it to the keyswitch and added a rocker switch to turn it on and off. |

Re: LED Battery Meter Hookup
Nice installation.
I like the idea of covering the Tee holder with a SoC list. If you have an auxiliary 12V battery, you might find a SPDT-Center Off rocker switch that will fit the same hole you made in the panel, so you can take a peek at the 12V battery as well as the pack. |

If anyone else wants to use it here is the SOC chart I did in MS Word. I did one in white on black and some black on white. For those with 48v carts you can use these and change the numbers to suit which is easier than starting from scratch. I just printed it out and laminated both sides. Be sure to seal the edges also to keep moisture out. If you use the black one hit the edges with a black sharpie after trimming. |

100% 51 volts 90% 50.5 volts 80% 50 volts 70% 49.5 volts 60% 49 volts 50% 48.5 volts 40% 48 volts It starts getting less accurate below this, but we should never get anywhere near the bottom. |

Re: LED Battery Meter Hookup
Okay, so even tho the meter has 4 terminals (+), (-), another terminal under the (-) terminal and a (C) terminal you only need to hook (+) terminal to the pack positive (36V) and the (-) to the pack Neg (-36 V) and the (C ) to the key switch terminal that is only hot when the key is on? is that right? Is the added terminal on the meter for a relay connection?
Haven't checked the key switch but will that terminal be a 12 volt circuit for the display? |

Re: LED Battery Meter Hookup
What is the best way to route the wires from console to battery compartment?
I plan to have the three wires inside a plastic tubing for protection. |
