Default pds backup alarm

Want to muffle the backup alarm on my 2009 txt PDS ezgo. Just can't seem to locate it. Guess it's different than my 2003 TXT.

Thanks.

Should be behind key switch plate and you may be able to reach it from under the cowl pass side. Piece of duct tape does wonders.

+1

If you have flush mounted headlights you can also remove one and get to it that way. Look inside the passenger side dash compartment and you will see two rivets in the side wall. Those hold the buzzer bracket. The buzzer is about 1.5" round and 3/4" thick and has a hollow place in the face. Put some duct tape over it and it will still be audible but not overwhelming.

Should be mounted just behind the key switch plate on the wall of the right glove box. On my cart the opening, where the sound comes out, faces down. A couple pieces of tape, like others have mentioned, will do the trick.

Yeah, through the key switch plate. It was a smaller opening than I thought it would be and had to feel around for it. A few pieces of duct tape quieted it right down.

Through the key switch plate is the easiest. If you want to completely disable it you can remove either wire from the buzzer without affecting anything else on the cart.
