Smile '94 EZ go value

Hi all,

A neighbor is gonna give me or sell for $100, a '94 EZ go electric. It needs new batteries, which I can do, BUT I do not want to spend $600-700 for new batteries & have the cart be worth only $500.

So about what is the value of the '94 EZ go with new batteries, high speed motor. been kept inside all the time, tires are fair, steering is tight, needs new cover on the seat. Got a ball washer, upgraded dash, located in Sun Lakes, AZ (Chandler, AZ).

THANKS, I appreciate your advise. Dave

Buy it! Can't go wrong at all for that price. If not I have a buddy in Casa Grande who would love to have it.

Does it have a charger? That alone is worth nearly the asking price, assuming it's an older coil and core type, which will be big and heavy.

Yep, got the charger.

Wondering what the retail value is - what can I sell it for?

It depends on the make/model, and whether you can sell it locally or have to ship it.

Depending on where you live, Craigs List would be a good place to see what they're selling for in your area. You can also do an advanced search on eBay and check only "completed" items. That's what it sold for, not what the current bids are for items still bidding.

If it's a coil and core one, you don't want to sell it. Keep it. They last forever.

I'll give you a 100% profit. I need an excuse to drive to Az for the winter anyway! :)

Seriously, if it looks as good as the pics and batteries is all it needs, once running it should be at least a $1000.00 cart. Around here anyway.
