Electric Precedent Throttle Issues
I have a 2010 48v Precedent that I have to pretty much push the throttle all the way down for it to go. There doesn't seem to be much throttle control in between barely moving and full speed. I've jacked the wheels off the ground and noticed when the throttle is pushed about and inch the solenoid clicks and the tires move. As I keep pressing the throttle the wheels stop turning until I continue to push almost full throttle. I've replaced the MCOR but that didn't resolve the issue. I've checked the Ohms on the solenoid and I get a reading of 5 when I've read it should be 200-250 for a factory installed solenoid. Would a bad solenoid cause this type of issue?

I replaced it with the exact style MCOR that was in it. All the wires plugged in without an adapter. Serial number is PH1041-138528

Is the resistor a replaceable part or would I have to replace the entire pedal assembly?

If you didn't have an adapter, the resistors are in the wire harness. There is one resistor per wire in each of the three throttle wires of the 3 pin connector of the MCOR. They're down in the wire harness a foot to a foot and a half from the end of the plug. They're 461 ohm resistors if you'd like to check them with a meter. If one of them is out of range it can cause all kinds of problems. It may be easier to check from the plug to the 16 pin connector of the controller. Purple, White, and Yellow.

Yellow - 707 ohms Purple - 704 White - 703 |
