Default Installed 2 speed limited slip differential axle

as the title says, I installed a 2 speed axle with a limited slip differential and the dang thang just don't know when to quit. Finished the install this afternoon and man, this thing is a beast. I tried to get it stuck, and it is possible, but not in my neck of the woods. Well, that's all I am concerned with any way. Am a very happy camper with my woodsmen beast now.

Did you go with the Imaginative one? Are the ratios 10:1 and 20:1?

Where'd you get it from and if you don't mind me prying, how much it set you back?

Sorry for the long delay. Just got back in from doing the tidy up work. The axle is actually made by Axles Inc. The ratios according to the distributors are 20:1 and 10:1.

Are these only for electric, or do they make them for gas also?

Here is the link to the distributor I purchased from, guess this is allowed, http://www.renegadedistributing.com/home.html There are other distributors also according to Axle inc's web site. I tried dealing with a local dealer here in Coulumbia who is listed as a distributor but I guess he didn't want to sell unless he was doing the install. Don't think he knew that much about them. Couldn't tell me if I could buy just the axle and shifter or the whole 4wd kit. Was supposed to call me back about it but never did so I went out of state for it.

You gotta want it though. The axle was 1300, shift kit was another 300 and shipping was 120. It was cheaper getting it sent to a business address which is what I did.

That I don't know. That is one the distributor would have to answer. The distributor I dealt with is mostly E Z Go and he couldn't tell me which way the motor mount spacer was supposed to go. It will go on either way but only works when it's put on the right way. That was a figure it out on my own deal. Everything else was straight forward.

nothing is cheap for sure and when it comes to toys, by golly, there always seems to be a premium.

But on the up side, I aint walking to find somebody to give me a pull again because i got stuck and there wasn't a dang tree close enough too me to use the winch with.

I know, that's what they make phones for but they aint worth a hoot either if it don't have a signal.
