Re: 85 club car DS issues
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. The batteries are disconnected and I have continuity across all solenoids without the pedal pushed.

Hooked the batteries back up and confirmed it is engaging "high speed" with the click of the first micro switch...

Re: 85 club car DS issues
just because you hear a micro switch click or a solenoid click does not mean it is working
test like this if you get continuity with out go pedel pressed then micro swith is bad main solenoid is engaging and the full speed solenoid is engaging test solenoids also full speed solenoid is more than likely welded closed giving you full speed when pedal is engaged |

Re: 85 club car DS issues
Fooled with it a little longer. Will try again tomorrow evening. I'm totally confused at this point but your post might have shed some light on it for me...
I hooked everything back up and tested it on the jack stand. Had full speed with the first click of the pedal..... Put it on the ground, went for a test ride and nothing on the first click and full speed on the second.... I also check each battery individually and had 6.35 on the weakest and 6.36-6.38 on the other..... Thank you for all your help crash test dummy... |

Re: 85 club car DS issues
just take it one at a time it will come together
do not run motor full speed when jacked up , just enough to see it runs batteries are fully charged |

Re: 85 club car DS issues
with key off take your probes and place them on the 2 large studs on the full speed solenoid
if you get continuity it is bad |
