Brake lights quit working, but running lights are still good, any troubleshooting tips?

start with the brake light switch underneath that is triggered by the pedal arm . some set up's have two switches and the other would be on the back side of the pedal itself . first one turns on the b-lights and other other turns them off when you use the hill/parking brake.

Remove the floor mat to get access to the brake and throttle wiring. On the left hand side you should see two wires coming from the brake switch. They are connected with bullet connectors. Disconnect the two wire and connect the two wires coming from the rear of the cart together. If the brake lights come on the brake sw is defective. This assumes you have Gen 2 brake pedal.
