Default Forward normal.... no reverse whatsoever

Our golf cart has had no reverse for a while now and we haven't got to fixing it. As of right now push it out of garage. The forward works perfectly normal, so I figured that it's likely something minor but have no idea where to start, before I drop the money to bring it in to the shop I was wondering if anyone has any idea whats wrong?

In order for us to help you...we need information...what model of cart...sometimes it's easier if you just take a picture of the serial number and post it, but if that proves to be difficult then just list the full serial number and we can figure it out from there.

UPDATE* I tried switching the s1 and s2 terminals on motor and cart moved backwards in F , I'm not sure what this means as to what is broken but hopefully it narrows it down.

Btw the cart is an older 48 v club car... couldn't find model or year .

It means nothing is wrong with the motor. Put those back where they were. Do what golfcartguy said.

Check and make sure the connection to it has not come loose. Gently pull on the thin metal strip, see if it springs back. if not it is blown.

Disconnect the 3 wires from Micro-switch #3.

Connect the Green and White wires together.

If the Cart still only Goes Forward:
The issue is the high current Contacts of the FNR.

If the cart works Forward and Reverse, connect the Green and Black wires together:
If the cart goes slow Forward and Reverse, the issue is a bad micro-switch.

If the cart does not work at all, the issue is the half-speed resistor in the black wire.
