Are my brakes dragging?
I recently changes the shoes on my brakes on a 2006 ds. 48v.
I had taken the rear wheels off to access the leaf springs and was going to paint the outer brake covers. I was hitting them with a wire brush with the covers on and trying to turn them by hand to brush the other side. They were fairly hard to turn. After removing the covers to paint them, they were very easy to spin. What can I do to make sure they are not dragging and I am losing speed and adding unnecessary resistance. |

Re: Are my brayes dragging?
Sounds like you know the answer. Improperly adjusted brakes can add roll resistance and cause loss of power and speed.
