Default Charging at low amperage ?

This started happening yesterday, I have a 01 ds and ussally when I plug the charger in it goes up to 15 amps but today and yesterday it has been charging at 5 amps and I'm not sure why? Should I be worried at all?

Also it is a thunderbull charger

Something is not right. Check your battery voltages and make sure they have water above the plates.

I have never seen a wiring diagram for a thunderbull charger, but if it works with the OBC, then it is a simple power supply.

In that case the issue is one of the Diodes on the rectifier circuit failed.

If the charger is designed to be stand-alone, You will need to get a diagram of the control circuit in order to troubleshoot.

Lester charger on my 36 volt ds did the same thing. It was a diode on the heat sink.
