2009 precedent golfcart generation 2
I recently purchased a 2009 clubcar precedent cart that was flooded. I changed the cntroller. It has a new obc and soleniod. It also has a new throttle sensor. The lights and horn work perfectly. Allsix batteries are reading 8 to 8.1 volts. The charger when plugged in click on then comes off. Can anyone help me with this problem i have. The only thing left is to replace the main harness. Can someone please advise. Thanks

Buying a flooded late model cart is not for the weak of heart. Depending on how deep and how long it was flooded, you may need to continue to change parts.

Thanks. The only thing left for me to change is the harness. The batteries went under water.

Re: 2009 precedent golfcart generation 2
Again the problem with a flooded cart is you never know what its going to take out.
On a late model cart, figure everything that's electronic will get wiped out. Every connection will be suspect to failure, and even after its been taken out of the water, the connection can fail later. You just don't know what exactly needs to be changed because none of us dump a golf car into a lake to find out what fails. |

Also wanted to know if the precedent and ds carts with the iq system used the same 250 amp controller.

Re: 2009 precedent golfcart generation 2
I've got a whole bucket of wire harnesses. What are you calling a "throttle sensor"? The 2009 Precedent will either have the TPS, MCOR2, or the MCOR3/4. And to answer your other question, the Precedent and the DS IQ use the same controller. Call me tomorrow if you need help. I don't get on the forum during work hours usually. Phone number is on the site. Link below.
