My understand is that the "uni-map" is the latest for stock or modified-stock motors.

Check if "speed limit" is set and what is the max-rpm, 3000 rpm will be 16/17mph, 4000rpm will get you 22/23mph.

Make sure You have the correct number of "poles" set (8 pole is stock magnet).

You may also want to set "turbo" ON so the controller will try to bias the tune more for performance than efficiency.

Problem solved... speed sensor was set on 4 pole. Now she will go 21 and get there pretty quick.
RPM is set at 6000. Is that too high for PQ executioner?

I think so, plus that will put your down-hill speed at 33+mph, which in my opinion is also too fast for stock brakes and large tires.

If You set it at 5,000rpm, that will still get you 28mph.

Controller was pre-programmed for the Executioner. That's why it was on 4-pole. Be sure to switch it back when you put your Executioner in and remember what I told you about that factory motor. It's not gonna play nicely with that XCT500 for any length of time.

Thanks for all your help! I'm glad I got into the controller programing. Super easy to use!

I received a reply from PQ and they said 6000 is ok. No hills here in Florida. Going to try 5800 just to keep it below max rpm to be easier on the motor.
