Here is the text of an e-mail I just sent to DPI.:

There is no mention of Accusense golf cart battery chargers going into a float charge mode after the regular charge cycle finishes, in any manual I've seen, nor anywhere on your website that I have found, yet I have Two of them (36V and 42V) that do.

To my way of thinking, this is a feature that should be advertised, so I'm curious as to why it is being kept a secret.

It *sort of* mentions it in the manual without calling it a float charge, but then if you zoom in on the front of the unit on Amazon you can see it lists float charge as stage 4. To me, it's the feature that sells the thing so I'm curious why they don't advertise it that way as well.

Let me know what they say, I'm curious.

Well, the cart has been plugged in since 8:30 last night and it is sitting at 51.2v now while plugged in. Pretty clear that this QE charger doesn't float and it is not keepping the batteries at a level near where the DPI charger does. So, new charger is on the way...

DPI came in today...holy cow, that thing is one solid unit. I'm planning on testing some voltages tomorrow morning before I hook her up to do some before and after. I'm excited!
