Re: Disk Brakes
The Service Manual tells the specs for when they need to be replaced.

The link kernal added will give you all the info you need. No adjustments are made on the brakes themselves. The inst. State when the pedal is fully depressed there needs to be 1/4" cable still showing. This is right at the brake itself.

Just for dome info, I have the Auscos on back and Jakes front I change the Jakes every 6-8 months, the outer wears from 1/8 to less then 16th. Most of the stopping is coming from front. Back pads are bring replaced in a month or so, they lasted 2.5 years.

Re: Disk Brakes
According to the Ausco manual, the specs are 1/4" of clearance between the yoke and housing. On mine I have a spring on them. I can't see how much clearance I have beacause of spring. The manual also says to remove the old spring from stock brakes so I'm confused! I can't figure this out! Am I supposed to remove this spring and check?
Any suggestions would help. Thx |

That's what I figured, I have plenty of material on my brake pads. My golf cart is not stopping at all when I apply the brakes. I will remove spring and update you.
Thx again Beach Cart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
