Default Opinion of Decka Batteries

I can't find any Trojan batteries close enough without having to drive multiple hours. I talk to a man who will sell me Decka equivalent to a Trojan T105 for $98.00 a piece. What do y'all think?

I have Deka GC-45 245 amp batteries for over 2 years. They have been flawless so far. Buy the highest amp hour batteries you can afford or want to pay and get longer run times. More lead more run time.

Deka make four grades of 6V cart batteries and none are the direct equivalent of a T-105, which is a 225AH battery.
GC-10 = 210AH
GC-15 = 230AH
GC-25 = 235AH
GC-45 = 255AH

Get a GC-15 or larger and you will be fine. The GC-10 only has 210Ah and won't have the run-time or the lifespan of a T-105.

Just curious - do they have 245AH marked on the battery?
Deka lists them as 255AH in the attached brochure from their website.

It is an excellent battery. However, you have to use a charger that has a US Battery charge profile, or they won't get fully charged and won't last very long.

The Deka GC-45 was one of the batteries I was looking at for my 42V pack.
I ended up with Exide GC-145 (which are 245AH) because I could get them locally.

From the looks of it they don't explain that.
