Running around the neighborhood and sneaking on the golf course basically.

I was looking at 5-6".

Honestly,You could run a Econo-type lift if its' just for street-use,and really save some cash.Check with site-sponsors for a block-lift,or a drop-axle kit.No real sense is spending a bunch of cash on something like a Long-Travel if you don't really need it.Find a deal on a package(lift, tires, wheels),and install it yourself in an evening. You might spend $6-700 and be done with it,plus you can say you did it.

Thank you! I had read a few different things about econo lifts so I wasn't sure if that was best.

I've checked on a few packages in that price range and I'm really looking for something that's easy to install and will last.

Drop spindle, or a standard arm lift sounds good for what you're looking for!

Noles, if it's your first time lifting a cart, spindle are easier,, but it's not that complicated with a drop axle

A 5" drop axle and 23's and you'll love it. If it was my choice between drop spindles and a drop axle I'd choose the drop axle. A little more involved, still an easy upgrade, but a better lift. What year is your cart?

I don't know diddly squat about lifts, but if you are going to install tall tires, you'll probably have to up grade the drive system.

Also, unless you are going to be driving in swamps, deep sand or deep mud, avoid low pressure tires. They take even more amps to turn.

Johnnie thats a good point about the low pressure tire. How many PSI would you consider is not a low pressure? If you over inflate a low pressure they dont last long. The center wears out fast.

NOLES149,

Lifts are not that hard to install, JUST MAKE SURE THE CART IS SECURE SO IT WONT FALL ON YOU AND CRUSH YOUR LEGS.
