Default 2008 Ezgo TXT PDS Issue

I was traveling home from the golf course when a strap broke on my trailer sending my cart sliding off and racing down the road. Luckily, no one was hurt and the cart didn't damage anything. However, after getting it home, it would not run. The diagnostic code was 1-1 indicating a controller issue. The cart was not in tow mode during this incident and it was traveling pretty fast down the road. My question is would it just be the controller that needs replacing or could it have done damage to the motor itself? I am a new cart owner so I am trying to do as much research as I can. Thank you for any responses.

You were lucky but it has cost you a speed control. Likely the motor is okay. Maybe a good excuse for an Alltrax upgrade. Visit our website for more information and use a safety (second) strap.

Thank you for the response and I will do that. I was really sick about it after it happened but after I cooled off a bit, I was very thankful that nobody got hurt.

Replace the destroyed controller with a DCX400 or larger.
That cart will do about 24 MPH on stock height tires.
Check out the 808 kit about 2/3 the way down this page after reading the good info at the top. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Custom_Options.html
