I have a new to me 2000 ezgo pds with brand new batteries.Every once in a while when you push the gas to release the break and go nothing happens. when you push the accelerator a second time it goes. This does not happen very often. Any Ideas. Thanks

Re: 2000 PDS hesitation
Have you tried releasing the parking brake using the brake pedal? I read somewhere that it's gentler on the linkage between the two.
Probably not gonna solve your problem though. |

Re: 2000 PDS hesitation
If the solenoid is clicking before the parking brake releases, the controller may be sensing a stalled motor and shutting down.
Put it in Diagnostic mode and see if you get a 4-2 error code when it happens. The text at the bottom of the attached label tells you how to get controller in Diagnostic mode. ----- After the brake pedal hit my shin a couple times, I learned to release the parking brake with the brake pedal. |
