Default 2000 PDS hesitation

I have a new to me 2000 ezgo pds with brand new batteries.Every once in a while when you push the gas to release the break and go nothing happens. when you push the accelerator a second time it goes. This does not happen very often. Any Ideas. Thanks

Have you tried releasing the parking brake using the brake pedal? I read somewhere that it's gentler on the linkage between the two.

Probably not gonna solve your problem though.

If the solenoid is clicking before the parking brake releases, the controller may be sensing a stalled motor and shutting down.

Put it in Diagnostic mode and see if you get a 4-2 error code when it happens.

The text at the bottom of the attached label tells you how to get controller in Diagnostic mode.

After the brake pedal hit my shin a couple times, I learned to release the parking brake with the brake pedal.
