Re: high pressure tires
Sportcoupe, I am assuming that the 23" was a high pressure tire?

Re: high pressure tires
JohnnieB, you got a point there. I used to see atv's cross over deep water and I assumed it took high pressure tires to do it. Something like a flotation type. I used to have dirt bikes when I was younger, never had an atv.
Sportcoupe, why don't they have 14" truck mud tires, they like to have fun to. They'd be alot cheaper than the 17" rims for mine. |

Re: high pressure tires
I found an aggressive tread "high pressure" golf cart tire. The 25x10-12 Rhox Grappler has 14 psi stamped on the sidewall.

Re: high pressure tires
Don't know about the Rhox tires, but the Carlisle AT489 series has max pressures ranging from 5PSI up to 22PSI depending on height, width and rim size.

Re: high pressure tires
JohnnieB, I found the 22psi Carlisle 489's on the Carlisle website. Those would be perfect, now if I can just find somebody that sells them.
Sportcoupe, those RHOX's do look like the 489's. I've never seen those before, I don't believe. Thanks for the help fellows! |

I got my Carlisle tires the same place I get my car tires. They had to order them, but it only took them a day to get them in. No shipping charges, no mounting fee, no disposal charge for the old carcases and at about the best price they were being sold for on-line, before shipping and tax. |
