Default touchy gas pedal at slow speeds

The problem that I'm having is the gas pedal is touchy when trying to ease around at slow speeds. It's all or nothing. What parts should I check to correct the problem... Has anyone had this prodlem? The cart is a 99 Club Car DS model.

Check to see if your carb butterfly is missing - A very common problem with ClubCar gassers...

It is were the choke is, you cant miss it.

I would check the micro switch, I had similar problem and was able to adjust it for the peddle and worked for me. The switch was not opening up until the peddle was 3/4 way pushed in.
Hope this helps

I had that trouble and it was a screw that worked it's way out of the carbuerator mount and had been sucked back up into the carb. Symptoms were either "full speed ahead" or "stop". 1987 Club Car. What's happening is your throttle is not operating at full swing.
