Nitrous Oxide
I came across a nitrous oxide setup that can be used on a golf cart with any engine, stock or worked. Thought it would be neat to have on cart for something a little different. Does anyone out here have any experience with this type of application ? I am not racing but would be neat. Any thoughts ?

Re: Nitrous Oxide
I have not personally done it. I have seen some of what can happen, melted pistons, burnt exhaust valves and heads blown off the block.
With an air cooled engine you first concern is heat. Put a good cylinder head temperature gauge on first. I won't say not to do it ( I run 36 volt motors at 72 volts all the time), just be prepared for what will surely happen. |

Re: Nitrous Oxide
Hey, thank you for your thoughts, I think you just talked me out of it which is a good thing. I was looking at the kit on eBay for $60.00 and they made it sound so easy without any problems. 251882129078 is the listing # Thank you again for helping me prevent major headaches.

Re: Nitrous Oxide
I know this is an old thread but this guy put NOS on his new cart. He said he gets about 10-10 second shots out of a bottle and it will run about 40 mph.
He is located in Russells Point, OH at Indian Lake. https://www.facebook.com/15856008084...type=3&theater |
