Re: need help with my lift kit please!
A few degrees of positive camber is a good thing, with a single A arm front end!!

Re: need help with my lift kit please!
I will try moving the shocks down a hole this evening. As of now there is only 61/2" between the tires. Thanks.

I think we need pictures!!
Click on the "go advanced" button below, A window will pop up, look for the "paper clip" at the top of that window. You will be taken to the photo attachment process. |

Re: need help with my lift kit please!
If its pushing the wheels in that much then the shocks are obviously too long...
but i agree, pictures would help immensily. |

What do your shocks measure eye to eye? I think mounted they should be in the 10.5" range eye to eye. Out of the cart they will be a little longer. Someone may have put rear shocks up there, which are 2" longer or more. |

Re: need help with my lift kit please!
The measurement is 16'. Sorry for that, most of the time my mind acts faster than my fingers. Old age I guess. The shocks measure as they should. I will try the picture process a little bit later this evening. Thanks for your intrest.

I think the top shock mount is still mounted in the 4 inch lift position. Take the 4" crap off and mount the shock top in the frame like mine.

Re: need help with my lift kit please!
Sorry, I had to. LOL. Like Mike said, is there a "bracket" above the shock that is pushing it down? I have a set of original shocks for the Yamaha G2 front and rear if you'd like. I had the same problem when i bought the jake's 7" lift and tried to use my longer shocks, so i had to double stack lifts, I esentially added a 4" lift on top of the 7" lift. In case you want to see what i'm rambling on about http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...ked-lifts.html |
