Yamaha G2 shop manual.
Hey guys,
I'm new here and just recently picked up a yamaha G2 golf cart. It smokes quite a bit and from searching through this great forum I was able to narrow it down to an engine rebuild. Does anyone have a shop manual they can email me? Also are there any tips or tricks when rebuilding the engine. My email is JFAB.BraunAtGmail.com Any help is greatly appreciated. |

The oil ring usually goes bad first. Some people ring them first time, eventually they need a bore or if you want it new performing they do. Some still smoke a little with just a ring job. Only issue is eventually the block/cover wear on the balance shaft and it starts to knock, and nobody has figured out a fix for it that I have seen.
