Default EZGO charger clicking

Hello everyone, greetings from Naples Fl. I have a 1995 EZGO. When I plug in the battery charger, the charger clicks and clicks but does not charge. Not sure if it is a battery problem or charger problem. All contacts are squeeky clean. Batteries are 3 years old. Thanks,
Bob

He means "How many volts do YOU have". Your going to need a voltmeter and check the voltage on the pack. Did you touched anything previous to the charger clicking? There is a bad connection somewhere in the system or possibly a bad battery....maybe the charger.

When the clicking first started, I noticed the batteries low on water. I replenished them. When I checked the recpticle on the cart, I noticed the negative wire was loose. In further examination, I found the recepticle itself dried out and crumbling. I replaced the recepticle with a new one and assured all wire connections on both the charger and the cart were good. When I first plugged in the charger, it came on and I thought OK it's fixed, however, after 5 minutes of charging, the charger started clicking again. I re-examined all wire connections and all is good. My suspecion is a bad or a couple of bad batteries.

Thanks,
Bob

Check each battery with a volt meter and you may find it.
