Re: Can you tell me year/model from serial #??
Am I going to run into issues finding things for this cart since it is not as popular? We are going to put a 23 HP Vanguard, long travel lift and wheels/tires, backseat, etc. The normal upgrades. Are there going to be things I cant get for the G8??

Theres universal seats and step plates and it has flat rear fenders so it will be easier to make things work.

If I'm not mistaken, many G2/G9 parts will work on your cart. Give one of our site sponsors a call, they can hook you up.

Re: Can you tell me year/model from serial #??
"Wilson" is a G8 and like "The New Guy" said , I used a G2/G9 engine cradle from CPP. Rear facing seat will need some extra "fabbing" since most bolt to the seat back uprights and G8 and G16's are not located in the same way. As for other "goodies", G14/16/19/22 stuff can work. Good luck Dave "Once you've had a "BigBlock"......You can't go back

Re: Can you tell me year/model from serial #??
Thanks for the help. I called a few places and it looks like mostly everything I want to do will work with other Yamaha model accessories. I found this backseat with a lot of searching. It sounds like it should fit fine...
