Re: Batteries test fine, cart will not charge
Yes, Can you identify the year of your cart?
Or are the batteries configured in 2 groups of 3 or 1 cluster of 6? |

Re: Batteries test fine, cart will not charge
This may help In each drawing the pack voltage is read on the unoccupied posts. In reality these posts will have the most cable connected to them in the cart as they supply pack voltage to the cart and the charger receptacle is connected to them...

Re: Batteries test fine, cart will not charge
pack tested 37.1, my cart is a 2004 I think it's 1 cluster of 6, they are all connected from positive to negative together, it's Figure D on your schematic

Re: Batteries test fine, cart will not charge
I should have seen that.... 37.1 is good. Plug the charger into the cart first and listen for a minute for a faint clink inside the charger.... after you hear this click plug the charger into the wall AC outlet. Then recheck the pack voltage ...... you should see it rising.....

Re: Batteries test fine, cart will not charge
That's good. You have to let it finish. Thiat might take up to 10 hours...... it will spend a long time at 5-8 amps equalizing the new pack.... proper charging and break in determines the health and longevity of a pack. Read all you can (pg 1) and follow the rules to get the most useful life from the pack. Sounds like you are okay for now
