1997 ezgo txt governor problems
I have a 1997 ezgo with the 295 engine. The problem that I am having is with the govenor. Sometimes it seems like it is stuck and will not let the engine rev over about half way. You can feel it when it releases, its seems like it has shifted a gear and takes off great. Does any one know what i need to do to help fix this. Thanks for the help.

One thing you might do is check the throttle cable end to end for kinks, and what not. Good Luck!

Re: 1997 ezgo txt governor problems
Thanks for the reply. I have checked the cable but its not that. It seems to be in the transaxle itself. I also checked the fluid level and found it to be low. I added some to it and it seems to be working better.
