88 Marathon 3pg piston in 2pg engine?
I am yanking the engine and was wanting to know if anyone has tried the
3pg piston in a 2pg engine yet and what the outcome was. I know I have seen a lot of talk but nobody posts that they tried it, if it worked, and if it did work was their a gain in hp or anything. Thanks, Craig |

Craig I think DAVE BOX has covered this topic you may do some looking around or maybe shout out to DAVE. I do remember reading they will work and have two ports instead of one but the carb and exhaust was also upgraded on a 3pg along with the rearend. What I got out of it all these changes were needed to get the total advantage of up grading.
