The ground strap was attached to one of the fan or flywheel housing bolts from the frame ground to the housing. OK

Yes. it is attached to the same bolt on the housing that goes all the way through, and holds the throttle bracket in place.

YEP that's right. You may also check the exhaust bolts at the head they tend to loosen up just little things over looked that's a pain later.

OK... hit a bump in the road....

Went to remove the acc cable stop, and it was stripped out.. Well I drilled the set screw and pulled it off, and pulled the cable out... well the cable is all frayed and ready to brake... so had to order up a new cable, and stop... So im stuck waiting on parts now....

Welcome!!You won't believe how much neglect and butchering those carts can accept and still function properly!!!They are literally Bullet-Proof!!Scrap the Oil-Injection if its' still hooked up(oil-pump failures are very common).Pre-Mix your fuel 1oz./gal and everything will be fine.Switch the fuse-holder over to the modern Plastic ATC-Style fuse, with a weather-cover to keep it dry.Hope this helps.

Oil injection is all ready gone on it.

Started replacing fuel lines on it. This one has two filters. One between the pump and the Carb, and one between the tank and the pump. Where is the best pace on these things?

Its' kind of a toss-up,if its' before the pump,it catches stuff from the tank,if its' before the carb,it catches stuff that might break-down from the fuel-pump.The factory had them in both locations at different times(one or the other).Theres no reason you can't use 2.If you use 1,I'd run it before the pump, since this fuel we get is so destructive,it will trap stuff before the pump swallows it.Hope this helps.

I'm with Pachanga on this one, I only run a single filter on my carts (which I change a minimum of once a season - prob overkill but makes me rest easier) and I put it post tank and pre pump ... These pumps aren't super hard to damage (torn diaphragms, etc) so keeping any potential crud away from them is def a step in the right direction !!!

Cool. Thanks for the advice. Thats what I normaly do on other pieces of power equpiment I have... But Im learing these carts are a little diferent then anything else out there. :)

Also there is not a ton of room in the line from pump to carb for one. It has a tiny one in there now, and the line has quite a bend in it to fit it.
