Adjustments
Just got done putting a 6" A - Arm lift kit on my 97 cart. Wondering, due I need to re-align the front end? And do I need to re-adjust the brakes? If so how hard is it to do. Also want to say THANKS I did have to extend the ground cable and the fuel line.

Re: Adjustments
Yes you have to align the toe but I don't remember if it's toe in or out. Search the forum for toe alignment.

Re: Adjustments
The only necessary adjustment I made on mine was getting the steering travel centered.

Re: Adjustments
You will likely have to adjust your steering to get it centered (as Springbok said) as well as your toe in.
Neither are all that complicated and can be done pretty quickly with hand tools, patience and a helping hand. |

Re: Adjustments
bungee cord a small piece of straight metal or wood to each wheel..then measure front and back,,the front should be toed in 1/8th inch at most and dead center is ok sometimes as well,,my sweet spot is a 1/16th toe in
if you have the jakes adjustable lt like mine anytime you change the lift height with the front shocks you will need to redo the toe in also. if you have it low like 4-5 inches lift, then go 6-8 inches the caster will prob need adjusted also |

Re: Adjustments
Well im kinda new to all this, but i believe it can be done on the tie rod end. Should be like a locknut, and then turn it in or out depending on what way you need to adjust. Try turning the wheel straight, then look at the tires, you should be able to see what way to adjust. I have a feeling im gonna have to do this when i get done installing my lift on mine. Ill probably be asking the same question here in a couple weeks. Just my 2 cents, im sure there are numerous posts that can help you here.

Re: Adjustments
Yes, that's correct. You lengthen or shorten the tie rod. I didn't measure anything on mine when I adjusted mine, just trial-and-error.

Re: Adjustments
You may also have to pop the steering wheel to get it perfectly centered
