Default Brake lights st400 gas

Hi again everyone, I have an e-z-go 2008 st400 gas, and I would like to hook up aftermarket brake lights. I found the running lights and they work great. The brake lights need a switch to send the signal back but I'm not sure what to get. I was looking at the parts manuals and I wasn't sure which items I need. Or is there an easier way without rednecking my buggy.

Thanks

Yes the wiring harness is there with the 4 connectors on each side of the rear.

Ok, then you should be able to get this to work, is there a spare set of wires near the area of the brake pedal, it may be hooked back with the rest of the wires. You can either buy an aftermarket brake type kit so the lights come on, or buy an different pedal so when you activate it this will cause the brakes to come on. Also there should be a spare wire by the fuse block area if it is not already hooked up, this will go to the one of the two wires by the brake pedal area. If you look in the stickies you can find a service manual and from there see the entire wiring diagram.

thanks for the help, I think I'll get a brake switch so I could hook it up.

Doesn't look like a switch will do. I have to change the brake pedal assembly to make it work.

Anyone with any other ideas I could try?
