Question EZGO TXT showing signs of smoking

Have a 2006 EZGO TXT with Robins Motor 295cc. I have owned the cart for 2years and just this past summer noticed a little smoke coming from exhaust.

I have changed the following items and want to know what to do next:

* changed both belts
* changed plugs
* changed fuel filter
* changed oil filter
* changed oil
* change air filter
* changed rear differential fluid

Noticed some black carbonation on front of carb when I took off the hose coming from filter box. cleaned that with carb clearner and wonder if there is more black carbon in carb causing issue.

Cart start/runs good. Just looking to keep it running in top form.

Let me know if there is something I should look at for the smoke problem.

I can leave the cart in neutral and give it some gas and there will be carbon on the garage floor from the exhaust if that helps any.

sounds like you may have some leaking vlves, adjust your valve lash and take compresion test after adjustment. Be sure your crank case breather tube to carb, is clean and open.

Thanks Jeffrun. I will check out the breather tube to carb when I change the oil. I was informed that since the cart is lifted to not put the entire 1.5 qts of oil in the engine. Put a little less as this may be a contributing factor to the smoke. Appreciate the reply.
