Default Gas under rocker-arm cover

Ok i noticed gas coming out of the hose attached to the rocker-arm cover and pouring it back into the air manifold. I took off the rocker cover and tried turning the engine and the rocker arms look and move right but gas to coming out of there which i know is bad news....so what am i looking at?? New valve? complete rebuild? how hard is it to replace a valve? Any help would be appreciated...thanks

Stuck needle valve in carb is most likely the problem, and the cheapest (15$). Also could be fuel pump. Your motor should be fine, but quit driving it 'till problem is fixed. 1qt of oil with 2qt gasoline in it makes a terrible engine lubricant...

so a stuck needle valve will make you have fuel/oil inside the rocker cover? no ptoblem about no running it because it wont run like it is.....how do you unstick the needle valve?? spray carb cleaner in there or replace the carb? thank you for spending the time to help me....C

What is the cart model, and where does the hose go to from the valve cover?

Buy a new needle valve for carb ($15). The excess fuel ends up going past the rings into the crankcase, diluting the oil. I'll bet the oil level is way too high also. The rubber tip on the needle gets a ring worn onto it, not cleanable, just replace it if you see any ring on it. I have seen this many, many times.

The cart is a Yamaha 2002 G22a....the hose goes from the valve cover back up into the air intake manifold....right where the carb sucks in air after it is filtered...

no clue where i can buy a needle valve replacement...does someone on here sell that?? Thank you again for yoiur trouble...
