I'm thinking maybe the type you're using is different. Does yours have a coil spring?

I had the coil spring first, it couldn’t support the carts weights.

I changed them out with Allsports Nitrogen filled shocks and they sent the shocks and a new A-Arm to work with the nitrogen shocks.

I swapped them out with the nitrogen filled at 500psi and they still aren’t enough the keep the front of the cart from sagging.
I’m having to send to the company that built he shocks, think Marvin Shaw, and fill them to 700psi.
you might look at atv shocks from a heavier machine. I need to find lighter springs

This is a thread about all sports shocks. Are you talking about something completely different?

The lift kit is Allsports. It was ordered from Allsports in Florida.

The nitrogen filled shocked I have in the picture came from Allsports, Allsports gets these shocks from Marvin Shaw.
Mine need more PSI because for he heavier cart and the owner of Allsports, Steve, told me to send them to Marvin Shaw to get re valved and increased to a higher PSI.

Anyone ever try to fit air shocks on one of these carts?

I had a 80 Z28 Camaro when I was a kid and it squatted bad when I had it loaded with friends and supplies in the trunk.. Ended up putting air shocks on it and it solved all my problems. Fully adjustable while driving down the road.

That's kinda what those nitrogen shocks are, they use an air bladder/chamber inside to support the weight. They have to be serviced regularly to replace the parts that hold the nitrogen (air). They use nitrogen because it's not corrosive and doesn't create moisture issues, but otherwise it's air/gas that supports those shocks. They are great, but usually more expensive.

Automotive air shocks "can" work in theory, but I think you won't find any small enough to use on a cart. Auto air shocks will be too large and stiff. They are ok as supplemental support, like using them with leaf springs on a car. They would not be good for a long travel atv/golf cart front end.
