6V--12V--mix--will -it -work
GOT A 96 EZGO 36V WANT TO UP GRADE TO 48V. CAN I REMOVE TWO 6V BATTERIES AND REPLACE WITH TWO 12V THAT WILL BE 4--6V AT 24V AND 2--12V AT 24V ---6 batteries instead of 8--6v. because my 6v batteries are still good . WILL IT WORK ??? I KNOW I'LL HAVE TO GET A 48V CHARGER BUT CAN I MIX THE BATTERIES

No... the charging is based upon so many cells. So many volts at so many cells ...... If you reduce the number of cells you over volt the cells....shortens the battery life.

got you. didn't want to have to buy 6 -8v but i will have to switch .didn't know if it would work thanks scottyb

put 2 more 6v batteries in the bagwell in the back of the cart
