2005 Ezgo Txt Reed Switch???
Does a 2005 EZGO TXT have a reed switch and can it be by-passed without creating damage?

All the 2005 carts that we have gotten in have not had reed switches. I have sold a couple hundred 2005's. Neil

Thanks for the response dcwneil,
The reason for asking, I was was cleaning the terminals while the batterries were connected and arced them pretty good - the charger still kicks on and charges the batteries bur kart doesnt move. I thing I will read on how to test solenoid - I dont hear it click but do have a tone when I shift to reverse. Just bought a cart and and trying to learn how everything works.
