2006 Ezgo 48v Mpt-1000
the cart started having trouble with the batteries dieing out half way through the day, the state of charge meter drops very quickly when running around the course with no load on it. called an ezgo tech out to check on the cart and he did a discharge test on the batteries and they passed with flying colors, he suggested the tire pressure was to low , "ezgo recommends 22-28 psi" tried that and nothing, still the same, i think it maybe the brushes in the motor? or something in the controller thats draining the batteries, what do you guys think?

Re: 2006 Ezgo 48v Mpt-1000
Do the usual in the usual order.
Pack voltage? Individual voltages? Specific gravities? Age of pack? Then move to cables. Clean or replace each. Just because a cable/connection has continuity doesn't always mean it can carry the current! Then move to control connections. Clean/replace etc. Then motor connections. Ditto. You'll find it. Maybe right from the start! Good luck! |
