Whats the major downside, the charging system doesnt charge at that speed anyway. plus, it saves on fuel.

Re: My Official G22A Build - nickname TBD
Not much progress lately. Did get the front hub on and spindle does appear to be fine. WAs missing the carb joint, so that shut me down. Carb joint and some misc hardware should deliver tomorrow (while I'm in Ohio ), but atleast it will be home when I get there Friday morning. Hoping to get everything together and try and turn her over Friday afternoon.
Think I've settled on a nickname..................Sparky I know, how original is that, but it is a gas engine. |

Re: My Official G22A Build - nickname TBD
I drive mine to work everyday, and i burn about $15 a month in fuel. At that rate, im not too worried about saving .03 worth of fuel.

Re: My Official G22A Build - nickname TBD
I had no audio (was it running?). If not, That belt half-way up the primary, and half-way down the secondary looks like belt/clutch trouble to me.

Sweet, no smoke? Time for a full tune-up, and valve adjust (.004").

Re: My Official G22A Build - nickname TBD
No smoke. At first I wasn't getting throttle linkage movement. Pulled the air box off and found I had the fuel pump hose from crankcase sitting on top the throttle linkage.
I'll get some pictures of the secondary. |
