Looking for replacement battery vent caps, CC Precedent
I have a 2015 CC Precedent that I bought used. It came with a connected battery watering system. I want to chunk the watering system and replace it with 4x battery vent caps with the quarter-turn connectors. I will check the battery levels and add water manually. I don't trust the watering system. Does anybody know where I can buy replacement 4x vent caps with the 1/4 turn seal? These batteries are PowerDrive Plus, 8 volts. Thanks in advance.

+1 on the flowsystem caps. A little expensive, but worth it.

I just ordered four (4) Flowsystem caps for evaluation. Assuming they work as advertised another 20 will be on order.

Re: Looking for replacement battery vent caps, CC Precedent
I'm just wondering how the watering part will go, what with them being taller and all. It seems my self leveling plastic watering can thingy will tend to put too much water in. Or is it easier to just take the whole thing out when topping off?

The PD+ batteries are not known for longevity. I’d make a thorough check of those to see what kind of condition they’re in, before spending any money on battery caps. New batteries might be the smarter move. Especially check the voltage on the pack before and after driving the cart. Make sure to take it for a Long drive and see how far the pack voltage drops and check if any one or two batteries are falling further than the rest. |

If your using a battery water bottle with a spring-loaded tip, it not going to work well with these caps . I use a 4 oz injector but a simple ketchup/mustard bottle from the dollar store works too.
