Better Suspension AFTER lift kit?
17 Precedent.
Installed 6" BMF RHOX lift kit. Its definitely better than bone stock suspension (of course) and it doesn't "slam" as hard when driving on the street/sidewalk over bumps, etc etc but its not "great". Its definitely better, but my question, is there a BETTER suspension people are putting on these? Is there anything available? Im looking for something nice, high quality .... maybe a true coil over shock or something? Im used to quads and sideXsides so Id like something more like what comes on them. arent there guys out there that suup these carts up to go 40-50mph and drive on the streets everyday? id imagine they have something better? or do I need another/different cart all together? |

The All Sports long arm suspension is pretty dang good from what I hear. Revolution Golf Cars sells All Sports kits. Check with David and get his opinion.

Re: Better Suspension AFTER lift kit?
and since I already have the 6" BMF RHOX lift kit installed .... i dont really want to have to start all over. Id like to just get an upgraded coil over shock or something similar to add to my existing setup

There are quite a few threads on this forum about coil-over shocks. This is the one that I remember and might be helpful to you: https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/show...ocks+precedent If you use the "search" feature of the forum you'll find other threads. I understand your experience with quads and side-by-sides and have the same. To expect to reach that level of ride from a golf cart will just be a lesson in frustration. It's a golf cart. I have no experience with these shocks so I cannot offer any advice. What I can tell you is that lots of people upgrade the rear leaf spring to one that is heavy duty. I did that and hated it. I did not enjoy my teeth rattlings with every bump in the road. I went back to a duel action spring and it's a much better ride. I think another consideration should be the type tires you have. The right tires make a big different in ride and handling, especially with a 6" lift. Hope something I have said is helpful to you. Good luck with your project! |
