Default EZ-GO TXT Battery Replacement Advice

Hey Ya'll,

New member here. I have a lifted EZGO TXT 48V that I have had for almost 7 years. Just used it around the neighborhood, quite hilly. My 6 T875's appear to be toast. Was about to go ahead and replace with a new set of Trojans but heard they are not what they used to be. Thoughts on this? I have a dealer pushing Crowns (CR-165) and Teka (GC8V). Don't see much online about these...just the Trojans.

Appreciate your thoughts ya'll.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum, I think you will be OK with either Trojans or Crowns. Just get the highest AH you can afford.

Thanks. Good to be here. Looks like AH favor the trojans (slightly). Dealer charging me the same for either choice.

Crown:

20 Hr/Amp Hour: 165

5 Hr/Amp Hour: 140

Trojan:

20 Hr/Amp Hour: 170

5 Hr/Amp Hour: 145

I agree with Brad...I carry Trojans and haven't noticed a decline myself but Crown is a really good brand as well I have nothing negative to say about them if you just want to try something different and to BGW!
